Somewhere on this box is a number for some hot, steamy phone-sex.
"...the box has the wrong toll-free prefix, meaning callers get a seductive-sounding woman who makes risque suggestions and then asks for a credit card number." [Yahoo!]
From what I hear, the cereal company is based in Pittsburgh and it was an "honest" mistake. Sure, that's about an honest mistake as Big Ben needing his TV repaired and strippers telling me they like me. I don't see what the big deal is though, morning wood is apart of a balanced breakfast, right?
The top 100 fantasy football rankings are for standard league purposes. We have plenty of movers and shakers; I get to bash on Jahvid Best some more, Michael Vick passes up Matt Schaub, Run DMC gets busy on the mic, Shonn Greene officially sucks and Dustin Keller can now see, hear and talk about his spike in value. Make the jump to see all this and much, much more. no comments
Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears. I come to bury Aromashodu, not to praise him. The drop happy, no blocking, slot sucking Mike Martz reject saw limited snaps in Week Two and was Inactive for Week Three. Even worse, his confidence was crushed when he was demoted from the Corporate Ladder. Aromashodu is now Stenchamodu. Dev Stench may have value in the future (when he is more comfortable working as a slot receiver or in the wake of a Knox/Hester injury), but for now, the 55% owned WR can be dropped in standard sized leagues. Look for Johnny Knox to be the only reliable WR in Chicago. no comments
It's a sad day here in MDSville. I have released Kevin Kolb into the wild. I tossed Salad Boy from two of my leagues, the only two in which I drafted him. What's even sadder is who I picked up. In an eighteen-team league, I needed a kicker (I didn't want to drop Sidney Rice, Devin Hester, Kareem Huggins), so I grabbed Adam Vinateri. In a twenty-team league, I needed to fill a Flex spot (thanks Ryan Mathews), so I grabbed... ugghhh... I don't want to say it... Mardy McFly Gilyard. With Laurent Robinson listed as Doubtful, I am hoping Mardy can super punch the Skins secondary like his dad did to Biff Tannen at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. My love is on the line Mardy, you can do it!
I have fielded a few "Can I drop Kolb" questions so this pretty much sums up my answer. If you do not have the bench space and you don't want to drop quality players or lottery tickets like Sidney Rice, Anthony Dixon or Kareem Huggins, do what you have to do. I tried to stick Kolb in some two-for-one trade offers, but no one bit. I do think Kolb will be traded at some point, Cleveland is my assumption. I'm guessing he'll have some value later in the season, but it won't be the kind of value that an Anthony Dixon can provide if Frank Gore were to miss games with an injury. Kolb's value was tied to the pass heavy scheme in Philly and that tie has come undone.
Kevin I hardly knew ye
Ken Whisenhunt is a dirty, dirty liar and I'd like to speak for the entire fantasy football community and say, "Fuck you Ken Whisenhunt". You asshole. Not only did Ken hide the fact that Beanie Wells had knee surgery, he then goes on to say Beanie was day-to-day after having the procedure done.
"It wasn’t like a normal procedure where you’re down X amount of weeks,” Whisenhunt said. “It was a day-to-day thing....."
The devil tongued coach wasn't quite done spewing propaganda. Although the RB was labeled as Questionable for Sunday's game against Oakland, Whisenhunt said there is “a very good chance” of Beanie playing.
Whatever chump. I'm not mad because I drafted Beanie, I just hate it when coaches lie about injuries. What did the Cardinals gain from this? Nothing. This should remind us to never draft players who come into the season already suffering from injuries. For every Wes Welker owner there are the managers who drafted Beanie Wells, Sidney Rice and Knowshon Moreno (Maurice Jones-Drew owners should be munching on their fingernails too).
We're back and ranking fantasy football's top 100 players! Where does Michael Vick land? How far did Pierre Garcon fall? Is my apology to Jahvid Best heartfelt or not? Did Robby D. lobby hard enough for Kevin Walter to make the cut? Make the jump and find out!
