At “Stream Pies,” we are serving up gooey loads of knowledge. Here, we’ll provide invaluable streaming advice on SPs who are owned in less than 30-percent of Yahoo! leagues. We list the options in order of best option to “least-best” option (with the strongest recommendations starting at the top).
Since I’m still on vacation, you’re getting a big-ass version of “Stream Pies” before I depart and go a full three-and-a-half days without computer access. Because we’re doing four days of stream recommendations based on probable MLB starters, I need to issue a disclaimer here. It is on you to double-check if my stream recommendations actually end up starting on the day they are listed as starters can be pushed a day up without warning.
So read up after the jump, and enjoy the rest of the work week suckas.

Cory Luebke @SF
Until his ownership creeps above 30-percent, expect to see plenty of Luebke’s hocked here at “Stream Pies.”
Carl Pavano @CHW
Four starts ago, he pitched a complete game against the White Sox (1 ER, 6 Hs, 3 BBs, 5 Ks). For his career, Pavano owns a 3.57 ERA and 1.15 WHIP against Chicago over 70.2 IP. Prediction: White Sox will take a Hot Carl to the grill.
Juan Nicasio @ATL
Though he hit a rough patch, he bounced back in his last start (8 IP, 0 ER, 3 Hs, 2 BBs, 4 Ks vs. KC) and has the walk rate (2.16 BB/9) to be a SP5 for mixed-leaguers if he finds some consistency. For now, he’ll make due as a quality stream SP against the Braves.

Jason Hammel @WAS
He hasn’t been all that great this year, but Hammel has been a solid stream option for me in the past and I’m willing to take a chance on him against a bumbling Nationals offense.

Chris Capuano @SF
Outside of one bad inning against Detroit, Capuano has been pretty damn great in his last six starts and offers solid strikeout potential to boot (7.63 K/9).
Charlie Furbush @KC
I like the strikeout ability and the matchup against the Royals, but really, the dude is getting on here mostly on the strength of his name being “Furbush.”
Brandon McCarthy @TEX
McCarthy has been a pretty solid fantasy SP this season and pitched well against the Rangers in his first start against them this season (6 IP, 0 ER, 6 Hs, 2 BBs, 4 Ks). Even though this is just his second start since coming off the DL, I’m putting my eggs in the “he’ll pitch well against his old team” basket.

Paul Maholm vs. CHC
I’ve gone to the Maholm well often here on “Stream Pies,” and for good reason. This matchup in particular is tantalizing as he’s pitched 15.2 innings of shutout ball against the Cubs this season.
Jeff Francis vs. DET
Francis the Praying Mantis has a 3.41 ERA and 1.17 WHIP at home this year and Detroit’s offense has struggled a bit lately.
